Referral Program
The Referral Program allows clients to refer friends and family to receive a one time $100 payment per qualified referral. You do not need to be a client to submit a referral.
Definitions and Interpretation-
In this Referral Program, the following words shall have the meaning respectively ascribed to them:
“Client” means an individual who filed a current year tax return with Lone Star Tax Service and used the Refund Transfer option to pay for services.
“Program” means the Referral Program
“Referrer” means a Client who voluntarily participates in the Program by referring eligible friends and family to become Referees.
“Referee” means a person who is not an existing Client with the Company
“Company” refers to Lone Star Tax Service
Period of Validity
This Program is valid from January 1st 2022 until March 15, 2022. Any referrals made after this date will not be eligible for a reward under this Program
Eligibility Criteria
The Program is open and available to Referrers who meet the following criteria:
The Referrer must be an individual over the age of 18
The Referee must be a new client to the Company.
The Referrer will not be eligible to receive the referral payment under this Program in the event that the Referee is already a Client in the database of the Company at the date of referral or if the Company has already received details of the Referee from other sources but has not yet entered them on the Company database.
The Referee must be notified by the Referrer and have consented to their phone number, personal information being passed to the Company for this Program before the date of the referral.
Referee can only be referred once to the Company. If the same client is referred twice or more, only the first person to refer the Referee to the Company (with the Referee’s permission) will be eligible to receive the referral payment under this Program.
Employees, contractors, and temporary workers working directly for the Company and its subsidiaries are not eligible to participate in the Program.
The Referrer will only be eligible to receive the referral payment if the Referee becomes a Client.
Referrer Responsibilities
The Referrer will indemnify the Company, its officers, directors and employees, and affiliates on demand against any and all loss, damage, claims, demands, actions, costs (including legal/attorney fees), charges, expenses and liabilities of whatsoever nature incurred by or awarded to the Company, its officers, directors and employees, affiliates, arising directly or indirectly out of the Referrer’s failure to obtain consent from the Referee before any personal data or information about the Referee is passed to the Company for this Program.
It is the Referrer’s responsibility to contact the Company in order to claim their referral payment.
Referrer is responsible for providing the information requested by the Company in connection with the Company, such information includes, but is not limited to, contact details about the Referee.
Terms for Earning Referral Payment
Terms are subject to meeting the eligibility requirements previously stated in section 3
Upon the Company receiving payment for fees charged from the Referee, the Referrer will be eligible to receive a $100 payment from the Company. There is no limit to how many Referee(s) can be referred.
The Referee must become a Client of the Company.
If the Company is unable to give the Referrer the $100 payment, the Referrer will receive a substitute gift of commensurate value, at the Company’s discretion subject to these Terms and Conditions.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas. Choice of venue in Jefferson County.
